Multiple letters in avatar

  • Great plugin! Just a thought for a future version. To make the avatars more diverse and distinct maybe add a feature to include both first and last letters from usernames. Like “John Doe” would become JE. Or, if you wanted it to look more like something from the periodic table of elements format it as “Je”. That would be sweet. Thanks!

    Hi,
    Thanks for the suggestion. It is something I had in mind for a very long time, but just didn’t have time to get around that. It is possible, though, that the (greatly) extended version of the plugin would eventually become a premium plugin, while keeping this simple WP First Letter Avatar a simple, free alternative. But nothing has been decided yet.
