    Hi there,

Thanks for creating a very useful plugin.

It seems that the plugin can only create two level menus, and cannot create multiple level child menus like WP menu? Can you please add this support in future version. Thanks

    For example:
    PARENT MENU
    – CHILD LEVEL 1
    —– CHILD LEVEL 2
    ——— CHILD LEVEL 3
    ————– CHILD LEVEL 4

Also, after I moved some less used menus to the bottom like Comments, etc and menus of other third-party plugins. and clicked saved, they are all disappeared

    Look forward to your response.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

The WordPress admin menu only supports 2 levels, parent and child. Client Dash only offers the ability to customize the items present in the default WordPress admin menu. It is unlikely we will offer support for more than that in the future, with regards to what you’re asking. Sorry about that!

As for menu items disappearing, this sounds like a bug. Could I get a little more detail on that bug specifically?

    Thanks for your reply.

I’ve done some more tests to conclude that right after I click “Save menu” button, those menus of third party plugins disappeared. They are:
    – Wordfence
    – WP Security (All in one security)
    – Performance (W3 Total Cache)
    – BackupBuddy
    – WP-Optimise
    – WP SEP Keyword Optimizer
    – Google Analytics

I tried re-adding them manually from “Plugin/Theme” > “Add to Menu”, after click Save, they disappeared again.

However, some other 3rd party plugins nested in Settings and Tools are still there along with Visual Composer, Yoast SEO, Envato Toolkit, etc.

Also, a new menu called “Links” was added. (I don’t have this menu in my original menu)

In addition, for some plugin menus like Wordfence, Squirrly and Yoast which have notification number bubble, they do not show up now. See

Lastly, how can I get back my original WP Dashboard? I don’t like the new one at all because it only has 2 columns and takes up a lot of space. I cannot see an overview at once without mouse scrolling.

They cannot stack underneath of each other neatly like the WP dashboard because some widget has more content and is longer than others, this creates unnecessary empty space)

Can I get more information your website?

    – Client Dash version
    – WordPress version
    – Active plugins
    – Active theme

As for the dashboard layout, that is simply how Client Dash works right now and there is no way to disable this. We have plans to allow more customization/flexibility for this in future versions.
