What version of BNFW did you upgrade from and to?
What version of WordPress did you upgrade from and to?

1. 20 subscribers
2. Nothing is in the CC or BCC fields. The “Send To” field is set as “Subscriber”
3. About 20,000/month and 900/day.
4. No.

From BNFW ??? to 1.4 (not sure what I had, most likely the previous released version) since I update regularly.

From WP 4.4.2 to 4.5

I should also point out that not ALL subscribers get duplicates, but most do.

I am having the same problem here.
Since I updated to WordPress 4.5, notifications are being sent twice for each subscriber.
Any developments on this?

Can you reply with the answers to the second post of page 2 in this thread?
Can you also state which notifications this is happening for? If all of them, please list the ones that you have set-up.

1- Being sent to 78 people.
2- All on the “To” field
3- Not sure, but about 50 visits a day.
4- Using Mailgun

Also, are you using any plugins that also share to social networks? Or Jetpack to achieve the same thing?

Notifications on “new post published”.
No Jetpack or any other plugin to achieve the same.

It’s not so much plugins that might be similar to BNFW that i’m worried about – it’s if post are being pushed to social networks at the same time. I’ve seen multiple notifications happen this way too so want to rule out anything like the use of plugins like “Facebook Auto Publish”, etc.

It’s not ready yet but can I have a (virtual) show of hands by way of a reply to this thread (or emoji) for anyone that’s still reading this and prepared to beta test a version of the plugin that might fix this, particularly for those of you that run larger / higher-traffic sites?

Ok, firstly, if you’re having issues with the notification, I would suggest disabling it so that you don’t have multiple notifications go out.

Secondly, can you downgrade to 1.3.9.2 and retest to see if this fixes it – providing that you don’t use any of the newer features since then.
