• I’ve been spending hours trying to fix this common issue, but somehow I couldn’t..
So All In One Seo pack produces meta properties (including og:url), which is fine.

But then just underneath I have another set of meta properties – which of course confuses all of the social sharing sites including facebook.

I already deactivated jetpack for good, and tried deactivating each other plugin to see if it will help, but didn’t change anything.

I really like the All In One SEO plugin, made my site much faster, so I don’t want to disable it.

I’m using the theme “duena”, but it doesn’t really ask about the website address anywhere in its options.

How can I move forward from here to find out what is creating the duplicate meta tags?

    Hi oseven,

I suspect it is your theme that is including those additional OpenGraph meta tags. Check your header.php file in your theme and see if you can locate them. If they aren’t there then they could be generated by a function which could be in your functions.php file or in another file.

    Hi wpsmort,

I looked at both php files but to be honest I don’t really know what to look for in these files :/

    Hi oseven,

Unfortunately there’s no standard way to write this code so it could be added in any number of ways by the theme. The best thing to do is contact the theme developer.
