(i saw this on a friends site and like it but he doesnt use wordpress so cant help me)

i want 3 option boxes as seen on page, but when i choose an option it doesnt change anything. every variations has a different image at the moment just to test it but the image doesnt change either. the boxes seem to be blocking each other

(for example) if you click on the ‘tractor’ page option one is a print, option 2 is the original painting option 3 is the gifts available. i want to be able to choose a print and the correct price comes up but dont touch original or gift boxes. but i need it to work so that if i change my mind and want a card i choose one and the image and price changes to reflect what im selecting

help help help smart people ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @tashalong

Thank you for reaching out — we’re happy to help!

From what I gather, the issue is with the pricing not reflecting what’s been chosen as the product’s options.

Just to clarify, did you already have a chance to make sure all variations have their individual pricing in place, in the back-end, or otherwise?

Furthermore, do all variations have both the Visible on the product page and Used for variations options checked, in the Attributes tab of the Product data section, or otherwise?

By the way, as this is not related with the Storefront theme, kindly make sure to post in the corresponding WooCommerce forum in the future:

I hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions about this matter, or if we misinterpret your concern in any way. We will be happy to help you further.

just double checked that all the variations were priced and the 2 options mentioned above were checked. all was well. they just wont work separately, i have to have selected something in each box for it to change.

    Hello tashalong

    Thank you for your reply.

The website you shared is not built with WordPress and WooCommerce.
But a similar feature can be achieved if you use the right tools. ??

i have to have selected something in each box for it to change.

This is how the product variations are designed to work.
You have to choose something for each box to trigger a change in price and image.

You might need this extension instead of product variations.
    https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/

I recommend that you consult a professional Woo developer who can help you achieve the design you want for your website. Once the design is in place, it would be easier to add more content and maintain the website.

You can find good devs at Codeable and WooExperts.
They will help you choose the right extensions and theme for your website.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us again if you have more questions or concerns.
We are here to help ??

i want them to work alone though, so if i select an option from choice 1 i dont have to pick something from box 2 and box 3 as well.

    Hey, @tashalong!

i want them to work alone though, so if i select an option from choice 1 i dont have to pick something from box 2 and box 3 as well.

To have it like this you would need to either have all variations being from the same attribute, so there would be only one selector with all options.
You could name them “Print – Mounted” “Print – Framed” ” Original Oil Painting Framed In Silver”, etc.

Or you can use the plugin my colleague suggested, which would be more suited for your goal ??

With Product Add-Ons for WooCommerce, you can offer each type of product separately, but there on the product page.

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
