Multiple Parente pates

I am using Incubator theme and I have several parente pages with their children pages, but the only way a parent page will work correctly if it’s being used as the main/index page, selected in the Appearance > Homepage > Static homepage.

I cannot find explicit information about WordPress being able to manage several parent pages, so is it?
