Hello. My visual editor won’t work, can’t add images, widget screen is not working at all, can’t save on the menu screen. Lots of troubles. I deactivated and reactivated all of my plugins.. no luck.

I had bulletproof security installed once but no longer – I read that that could be part of the problem. I have two other sites that are running with all of the same plugins and theme (Canvas from Woothemes)with no problems so I’m thinking its the bulletproof security.

Can anyone help me? Should I reinstall the bulletproof or should i remove the files from my FTP?

    Also open to other suggestions.

    THANK YOU!!
    Jenna

Adjusting the wp-config with ‘define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true);’ worked! ??

    That’s a workaround, not a fix.

If you want to continue using BulletProof security, then upgrade it to the latest version, which will fix the issue.

If you don’t want to use it, then you must delete the .htaccess file it placed in your /wp-admin folder.

Ahha.. I wasn’t sure it could be that easy but I was hopeful..lol.

I have two .htacess folders, one where my main folder where all the wp folders are listed and on in my wp-admin. Do I delete both of them?

I also have a file named blog.allstarpaws.php as well – looks like it just list my database information but it this normal?

Once I delete those do I then delete the code in the wp-config file?

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your help!!!!!

Do I delete both of them?

No. Just the one in the wp-admin folder.

Now for the two .htaccess files they both have the bulletproof changes but the only one i need to worry about is the wp-admin folder. Is this correct?

    Thank you again!!!

    Yes.
