    The owner of this business and I have been testing out the reminder emails and discovered that if someone makes an appointment that is 5 days away and there is a reminder set for 7 days before the appointment a ridiculous number of reminder emails get sent to the customer. In one case I received over 100 emails -each a minute apart.

    Our solution was simply to only have one reminder 24 hours before the appointment and to only allow appointments to be made 2 days before.

    I am a little nervous about the emails I might receive next week though. Would love to hear if anyone else has experienced this.

    Hi strangechild,

    We were not aware of this conflict. We’ll do some testing to see if this is indeed an issue that always happens when the reminder date falls before when the appointment is actually booked, or if it might be isolated. If we have any specific questions, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, thank you for sharing how you set it up to avoid the conflict.

    No problem, I think I also got duplicates because I booked an appointment using the same email as my admin login. But there were so many I wasn’t sure. When I switched to testing with my personal email I only got multiple reminders.

    Hello again, I had made a test appointment for tomorrow and set a reminder email for 24 hours before the appointment. I just received approx 180 reminder emails sent to my test email address. Once I deleted the reminder it stopped sending them. Have you seen anything similar to this in your testing?

    Hi strange,

    We haven’t yet released an update to correct the reminder email issue you initially reported. This is related to that. We hope to be able to put out an update soon.

    (Also was going to come back and let you know, even though I turned off reminders I got another email this morning. Same as all the others.)
