Multiple roles?

    Hi!
    First of all i must give you HUGE THANKS! This plugin has reeeeeeally helped me, ive been looking for a plugin like this for like 5 weeks straight, trying almost every similar plugins out there including premium ones like UserPro, and none fits my needs like this one! So 1000 times THX!

    Is there a way to make users be able to set up multiple roles?
    I need my users to be able to set their “Roles” as professions and be displayed on multiple member directories.

    Hi Bullsta,

    Many thanks for the kind review. Currently UM does not support giving more than one role to the same user unfortunately, I am sorry. We’ll however discus this feature for possible integration in the plugin for future releases or as a seperate addon.

    For anyone who is interested, I’ve been using the PressPermit plugin which is GREAT for handling roles and groups, including multiple roles per user. However, it doesn’t have any built-in functionality for logins, registrations, profiles, and all of that which is what UltimateMember is really great at. I’m new to WordPress and obviously to PressPermit and UltimateMember, but so far it seems the 2 plugins make a winning combination when used together. Hopefully, the authors of both plugins will eventually get together to ensure long-term compatibility.

    There is no news on this yet. We have other features to work on at moment which have a much higher user demand so we do not have plans in (at leas in short term) to work on this.

    Well, here’s another one (who has already purchased the Pro version).

    I desperately need the Multiple Role feature.

    Can I add my voice to multiple roles. In particular I am looking a multisite solution that requires a different role for each site.

    topcstarter can very easily achieve that without multirole-user capabilities, unless i dont know the whole side to the story
