• Is it possible to add functionality that allows multiple room bookings at once, rather than needing to book each room individually?

I have a venue that has a main hall, kitchen and changing rooms etc. For some events people need to book more than one of those.

    Thanks.

  • No, but you can make room containers that hold common configurations and it will only reserve the rooms you add to that container.

For instance, we have 3 rooms. We allow reservations for Room A, Room B, Room C, Rooms A&B, Rooms B&C and Rooms A, B & C as separate room containers. If someone reserves C, B&C and A, B & C are unavailable configurations at that time since C is in use.

    Hi

Unfortunately, the venue I’m helping out has about 7 different rooms, and multiple variations are often chosen (it’s a decent-sized village hall, that runs varied events).

I checked the most common variations by analysing past bookings, so the room container method probably isn’t suitable, from a user interface perspective.

Would there be a possibility of me / you adding a setting to allow multiple rooms? Or maybe an add-on. The main thing would be for backwards compatibility, and to keep the user interface the same for current users, but adding the possibility of multiple rooms bookings. I’d be happy to help out, and I’m ok that you guys still own all the code. Just a volunteer. It might be a win-win situation?

I hope you will at least consider it, as there are no good room-booking plugins as good as yours.

    Thanks again

I am looking at adding an option to limit specific amenities to an amount, so multiple rooms can share a limited amenity.

Can you give an example of what you mean by that? I didn’t understand. Thanks.
