Multiple Share Popup Windows At The Same Time

  • Hi, could you please make multiple share popups open at the same time in your new update?

    If I click on Twitter and on Facebook at the same time, it will just redirect me from Twitter to Facebook within the same popup window. Why can’t I open both Facebook and Twitter in 2 separate popups at the same time??

    Could you please fix that?

    Hi,

    It’s highly unlikely that someone will try to share on multiple social networks at the same time. Still, we will try to make it like this in future.

    Im not necessarly sharing at the same time. Usually I just open 3 popups, Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus, wait for a few seconds for all of them to load and then start sharing on my own pages, one at a time, but with this plugin, you can open only one single sharing popup at a time which is very inconvenient for me….

    I also notice a new problem today. Facebook OG Image does not always get included, you have to close the Facebook sharing popup at least once or twice and reopen it and eventually the OG image will be included…

    I am using AIOSEO plugin to define Facebook OG images and this doesn’t happen with other sharing plugins, only with this plugin. The OG image usually gets included in the first attempt with other plugins.

    Could you also take a look into this?

    To resolve Facebook OG image issue, follow the instructions mentioned in Troubleshooter section at plugin options page in admin area. This happens due to sharer cache maintained at Facebook’s end.

    I don’t see how going to Facebook’s Debugger would help me in fixing a problem which happens only with this sharing plugin. I debugged a link and it says that OG type, image, description, title is NOT defined… but of course everything IS defined!!

    In that debugged page, WITHOUT refreshing it, I went to page source and guess what!
    <meta property=”og:title” content=bla bla
    <meta property=”og:type” content=bla bla
    <meta property=”og:url” content=bla bla
    <meta property=”og:image” content=bla bla
    <meta property=”og:site_name” content=bla bla
    <meta property=”fb:admins” content=bla bla
    <meta property=”og:description” content=bla bla

    Everything was perfectly defined! I replaced the huge texts with the word bla bla of course.

    Like I said before this only happens with this plugin, with other plugins I never had this issue before. Maybe is it just a bad plugin setting that I did? For example, in Miscellaneous, Share Count Cache, I set it to 12 Hours….

    Is this what’s causing the problem??
