    Is it possible to have existing shipping add up depending on product author or let’s say vendor?

    Example Customer A buy product from Vendor A and B. The total would be item price + shipping fee from Vendor A + Vendor B

    Is this possible also without a plugin

    Hi there,

    What I’d suggest is creating a unique shipping class for each vendor. Once you do that, you can define a shipping cost for the classes inside of a flat rate method. As long as you have the class “calculation cost” as Per class inside the method, the shipping costs will be added together at checkout.

    Hello I already have shipping methods – I use mostly Flexible Shipping (plugin) as my shipping would depend upon weight/number of items. Is this still possible if I just put shipping classes on my products?

    Hi there,

    In that case, this would depend on that Flexible Shipping plugin. The Shipping class solution described above would work well with the Flat Rate method since you can set different prices for different classes. If the Flexible shipping plugin you are using allows setting prices based on shipping class, then that could still be possible — I’d recommend reaching out to the support team for the specific flexible shipping plugin you are using to ask about this.
