    Hi,

Our WooCommerce site is now running Slim SEO and I’m curious if it’s necessary to upload multiple sitemaps on Google Search Console.

Currently I’ve uploaded the following sitemaps:
    /sitemap-post-type-page.xml
    /sitemap-post-type-product.xml
    /sitemap-taxonomy-pa_stoerrelse.xml
    /sitemap-taxonomy-product_cat.xml
    /sitemap-taxonomy-product_tag.xml
    /sitemap-taxonomy-pwb-brand.xml
    /sitemap.xml

Is this really necessary though? Or do I only need to upload sitemap.xml?

I just wanna make sure that Google gets all the information that it needs to index everything including all our products.

I’ve been very frustrated to see that when you search for staehr-aalborg.dk and go to images, all our products don’t show in the search results.

We’re trying to aim to get the same results as when you search for our competitor: soeshops.dk – ALL their products show up in the search results images.

What can we do to achieve this?

    Thank you so much!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @staehraalborg ,

You don’t need to upload the hard-coded XML sitemap. The sitemap is automatically generated for your site and it’s dynamic and virtual (meaning you don’t see it when browsing the files).

The sitemap has the URL “sitemap.xml” and include all post types and terms for search engines to crawl them. And that’s necessary since these pages are public and accessible.
