    it looks like you have a featured image set and also have the image embedded in the post? Remove the image from the post content and just have the featured image set.

    It does look that way, but I can assure you I have not embedded an image in my post. I merely selected that faucet image as the “featured image” for the post.

    if I specify thumbnail_size=”none” one of those two images goes away. perhaps my post template is sticking a featured image thumbnail in, and the tpg_get_posts is doing so as well?

    The mag_layout does pull the featured image and display the thumbnail beside the post. If you set the thumbnail_size=”none” then only the formatting of the theme is applied to the content. It could be a filter set by the theme.

    I looked at the full post from the example and it has the featured image inserted next to the post content.

    So….can you get by with thumbnail_size=”none”. That will just let your theme generate the thumbnail and the plugin will just pull the post to the page.
