Multiple title tags everywhere

    I noticed this month a big downgrade in google my site was in the first position with more than 10 keywords but now its between 15 – 22 positions and finaly today I found that there are two titles on 3 sites with 3 different themes

    I have installed yoast one month ago and my site now is down, however I just removed the add_theme_support( 'title-tag' ); from my theme and added <title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title> in header.php now is solved for me but you must find a solution for this.Its a big problem.

    sorry the solution above not working too Im having multiple title tags on my homepage and all my other pages

    This seems to be specific to your site. It may be related to other plugins and/or your theme and requires privileged access to troubleshoot.

    Try switching to the default WP theme and/or deactivating various plugins to see which component causes the extra tags.

    @awpt If you are experiencing multiple title tags being output on your site, that is typically caused by a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
