multiple users, content categories,…

  • Hi!

    I’d like to start a new website, and I’m thinking about using wordpress, but first, I’d like to ask some questions.

    a- I have already used drupal, and I’m quite comfortable with. Anyway, how database-intensive is wordpress compared to drupal?

    b- take a homemade videos website for example:
    b1- I want multiple users
    b2- I want to be able to put all their post in the frontpage
    b3- I want to have a link on the frontpage to see only each user’s post (so, we’d say it be several blogs?)
    b4- I want to have a link on the frontpage to see only videos of a certain genre (horror, comedy, prank,…)
    b5- I’d like to set different themes for each user’s “blog”

    would all of this be possible/easy with wordpress?

    c- in this situation, could each user moderate comments received in their posts?

    d- is there any way for the users to upload a video to the website (as an attachment to a post), get it directly published in youtube, and show it in the post?

    thinking brings more ideas:

    e- any way to show different “blocks/widgets” depending on the view? I mean, if I’m browsing certain user’s posts, I want some easy way to show that user’s data (post-count in each category, tweeter, avatar, etc etc)
