multiple widgets using different ‘links’ categories?

  • hi – I’m trying to get my older template and sidebar links working with new 2.6 widget system.

    In my ‘links’ I’ve got the categories: contributors, and 2 separate website links categories.

    When I put the sidebar widget code into sidebar.php it shows ALL categories in links, but I have a 3 column site with contributors in column 2 and the website links in column 3 – is there anyway to call on certain categories within ‘links’ for each sidebar?

    I’ve created 2 sidebars – with links in one but in the widget menu I can’t assign links to sidebar 2 as it is being used by sidebar1. Is there any way around this?
