Multisite 10+ sites exhaused 1500M memory

  • Hi,
    i have set multisite and i′m duplicating sites with plugin MultiSite Clone Duplicator.
    Problem is, that when i reached 10 sites in total, i cannot duplicate more.
    I deactivated all the plugins, but when i open Users, i get
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1610612736 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 83 bytes) in wp-db.php on line 2416

    There are 60 users in each of 10 websites. Do you have experience with multisite like this?
    It′s not possible to exhaust 1Gb memory just with users.

  • We dont have this problem. Our WP system has over 70k users. My guess is something in your theme, plugin, mu-plugin is doing extra stuff that is using the memory. Try setting a default theme and make sure your plugin and mu-plugins are clear.

    I did that, default theme, no plugins, just this one. When i duplicate master without users, everything is fine, but i found, that i have about 6K meta data for each user. It′s not clean install as i got already prepared website, so most probably there will be some bloat in database or this plugin doing something wrong.

    Sorry, your problem must be specific to your plugin, MultiSite Clone Duplicator. You’ll have to ask their support forum for help. Or maybe use another plugin for duplicating sites.
