Multisite 3.1.2 Image Upload Path

What are your specific issues?

actually i dont think it is a path issue after all.

I have upgraded my site from WP to WP MultiSite

I have also migrated to a different server

Since the migration – my old featured images are not being displayed

If I try look for an old image directly via the url I get this message

The image “https://mysite.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/supporters.png” cannot be displayed because it contains errors.

You cant see the issue because my site is in maintenance mode until the relaunch

Any help will be appreciated – will google this problem again

Then go see if the files are physically there. see if you can access the images directly (which you can’t). And talk to your host or whoever did the migration. If you moved the images in ascii instead of binary, yeah that’ll wreck ’em.

Could this be my problem too? After moving my WP Network 3.1.1 my subsites only display the first page and without images.

Make sure all your files were copied up. INCLUDING your .htaccess ??

And re-save your permalinks.

I re-set them from my server account. What do you mean by re-save? Where do I do this and how?

You know how to change your permalinks?

Go in to the permalinks page on your admin dashboard and click ‘save’.

ALso, did you verify that your .htaccess file made it to your new server?

OK I resaved the permalinks. Same problem — no images on the home page and, the only page that loads).
Actually I need to create another .htaccess file. Maybe that’s it. Can you help me with that? Support at NS said it was bad and put in a temporary one when I went live with the site. They said I can recreate it. There wasn’t much on it.

Next problem…. the other pages and links on all my subsites link to my main site. Is that a path problem?

(BTW, did you know you have links for ‘Value Investing Congress
Maps’ in your theme that go to another site? I think your theme has some unsavory links)
