• Hi, I have installed the plugin in a multisite, the problem is that if I activate the option “activate for the network” nowhere do I find the settings option.

When activating it individually in the main domain everything is fine, but when I want to activate it in another of the folders where I have translated my site, for example in the folder “en” it asks me to add a new property in Search Console and Analytics.

I would not like to have an account for each folder as it would be chaos, I would rather have everything in one account.

Now that I have it active only in the main domain, when making an example visit to see the behavior in Analytics, it happens that when “the user” goes to one of the folders where I have translated the site, the metrics in Analytics stop tracking .

I would like to know how to integrate everything in a single account both in Search Console and Analytics, since although it is a multisite the languages ??are hosted in subfolders and not in subdomains.

    Thanks a lot.

Thanks for getting in touch. The plugin is not fully multisite compatible yet, although you can keep track of it’s progress at the GitHub issue below:
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/276

While you may not be able to setup Site Kit as preferred in a network install you can however setup Site Kit on individual sites on your multisite network.

Good question. For Search Console depending on the setup of your sites (ie. subdomain) you may wish to setup a domain type property although you would need to this do before setting up Site Kit, this requires DNS record verification.

For Analytics during setup within Site Kit you can choose the same parent “Account” during setup for each site, and then choose a “Property” specific to each website.

Let us know if you have any further queries on this and we’d be happy to assist.

I mean, you are practically telling me that there is no solution to this

Unfortunately there isn’t full multisite compatibility just yet, the dashboards that will be displayed within Site Kit will reflect that individual WordPress install data only.

Note that while each Site Kit Search Console dashboard will display info on that individual site if you’ve setup a verified your site using a domain type property before setting up Site Kit you can use the Search Console web interface to view all data across each individual domains (including sub directory installs).

In relation to Analytics have you tried using the same account and property on each site, then using a filter with a view to limit data for just that install. Site Kit allows you to select a view during setup on each site. That’s one alternative which may suit your needs.
