Multisite and BuddyPress

  • I am using multisite and BuddyPress. I currently have BuddyPress network activated but subsite as root blog using the define the rule in wp_config.

    I also have GamiPress network activated.

    1. It seems like each subsite has full GamiPress controls and settings. Is there a way to have one site’s setting apply to the entire network?

    I tried settings on the root site but it doesn’t show points, rewards etc on the BuddyPress profiles. Probably because its root site is a different site.

    Can you create a page with the shortcode [gamipress_achievements wpms=”yes”]? (important to set wpms to yes)

    Let me know if you can see whole site achievements or just achievements per site

    About set the same settings for the whole network, it is something that we can add to our roadmap but we need to investage and valorate it

    Anyway you have the import/export settings tool where you can export your root settings and import to the rest of subsites

    Thanks for responding on this.

    [gamipress_achievements wpms=”yes”] – only shows the achievements per site.

    I can export/import all the setting easily. But does this also import point types and achievements etc?

    Points earned on site 1 still wont show on the profiles on site 2. Points earned in the shop on site 3 wont show on site 1 or 2… etc.

    Export everything on each site will just duplicate your data on every site, but when users earns anything, it will be just on the site where they did it

    Make GamiPress work multisite is something more complex than just make some changes, so let me check it this and probably it will come on a plugin instead of on inside GamiPress

    Because your wish is get the points, achievements and ranks shared on all sites instead of per site

    I will mark this as resolved because this is something we will look on the future (our current roadmap has a huge number of features and add-ons to get ready first) but be sure I added your request to our roadmap and we will take a look as soon as posible
