MultiSite and Internationalization

    We are looking to internationalize our website so that users in other countries can select their country (and maybe language) from a dropdown, and then be redirected to another display of our site catered to them. Would multisite be the best way to do this, or am I over-complicating things?

    Multisite is good for internalization if the team who will management the site is different.
    It’s also good if you want to use different domain for each site (for better SEO) , you can use a domain mapping plugin to achieve that.

    But if the condition describe above are not part of your requirement, you can use Polylang plugin ( https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/polylang/ ) Which is for me the best plugin to make your worpdress site multilinguage ( documentation and support are very good)
