Multisite – cannot choose from existing images

Hi, I’ve installed the plugin to the wp multisite (network) wordpress install. Plugin works and I’m able to upload new profile picture.
Problem is, when I try to attach existing image form media library. I can open the library, and I can see all the images there. But after save, user remains without any profile picture…
I guess, it has something to do with upload paths for multisite blogs, which are separate subfolders (named with $blog_id number) in uploads/sites/… User profiles are, of coursre, common among whole multisite…
Could you possibly fix the multisite behavior in some way (keep in mind possibility of storing $blog_id belonging to existing image for editing in different blog)
