Multisite Config – Static homepage not showing, deleted blog posts (hello world)

    I recently set up a multisite configuration using subdomains. I am converting from my prior domain/subpage configuration. I am using Divi Theme.

    When I edit the subdomain page I want as a home page for headshots.jgphotoarts.com I can switch from editing with Divi to displaying the webpage properly using the “Exit Visual Builder” feature. But when I launch an incognito browser page and go to the URL headshots.jgphotoarts.com the sample post page, that I deleted earlier, is displayed instead of my desired home page. I did setup the static page under Settings>> Reading to make sure headshots.jgphotoarts.com is the static page to load.

    My website is hosted on A2 Hosting using LiteSpeed Cache and QuicCLOUD CDN. This problem occurs even after disabling all plugins and clearing the LiteSpeed CDN cache.

    I have no idea what is happening to cause this, your help is greatly appreciated.

  • It’s a caching problem: flush ALL your caches: LiteSpeed cache plugin, A2 Hosting/Server cache (if any), and Quic.cloud CDN cache.

    See the screenshots below, first, the X-Litespeed-Cache: hit in the HTTP response, and second: the same URL, with a random query parameter added to bypass the cache.

    Thank you, George. In my haste I thought I was clearing cache properly but apparently not. It is working now. Thanks for the insight.
