Multisite CPTs query

Hi,
I’m trying to figure if in multisite mode – it is possible to get in *SITE-A* results from *SITE-B* even if the content belongs to a CPT that is registered only on *SITE-B* .

The basic functionality of wp_query doesn’t support this condition even with switch_blog and CPTs must be registered on both sites in order to be queried using the conventional functions.
