Multisite domain mapping redirects to main site

    Hello,

    I am struggling with mapping a domain name for my WordPress Multisite. When I register a multisite and change to address to the new domain (in this case https://www.poezine.com) the URL keeps redirecting to the main site.

    Without domain mapping, so when using the standard WordPress Multisite (www.zevchafer.com/poezine) there are no problems. I asked my hosting if there were any problems with the DNS, but this does not seem to be the case.

    I hope someone can help me solve this problem.

  • I’m not seeing any such redirecttion. I get “200” HTTP response, and a default WordPress installaton… not the main site.

    So I’m supposing you’ve got this sorted already.

    It works almost, but I still have a problem. When I access the domain wuth www. it works fine, but without www. I get redirected to the main site.

    I am running into the same issue. If www is used in the URL the correct site is loaded. If www is not in the URL, the main/root site is loaded.

    @metaphorcreations: Please open a new thread and thoroughly describe your problem, including your site’s setup and also give the address of the site you need help with.
