• Hi,

My WP Multisite was working just fine until yesterday, when SUDDENLY (without me doing any change) the images on subdomains were not showing any more.

I inspected the issue and found out the error came from a change in the image path. For instance, before it was:

    https://subdomain.website.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files/example.jpg

which still works, by the way.
For some reason, the image paths automatically switched to:

    https://subdomain.website.com/files/example.jpg

so the image links are all broken.
Now I went to Network Admin > Sites > Edit site > Settings
but on the Upload Path everything is ok:

    wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files

So how can I solve this?

The URLs aren’t wrong. Your image paths have (or should have) ALWAYS been /files/ – That’s the default for anyone who started a Multisite pre 3.5

Check your .htaccess file. what’s in it?
