Multisite instalation

    Hello,

    I’m running a MU network and want to install it only at main site because the theme I’m using there is having its own login & dashboard pages for subscribers. My idea was to completely hide any WP user management screens, dashboard, toolbar or whatever in order to avoid confusion and use only my theme’s pages for subscribers.

    I installed the plugin only at main site (NOT network activated) but can’t see any difference. When logged in, subscribers can still see the toolbar on top of screen and access their WP profile, as well as WP logout from there.

    I’m I missing something here?

    Hi John –

    My apologies for the delay in replying.

    My plugin simply prevents a subscriber from accessing the dashboard itself. It does allow them access to their profile so they can edit them, as well as being able to see the toolbar. The plugin does remove the dashboard link and a few other things from the toolbar for subscribers.

    So what you are seeing after activating the plugin is intended behavior.

    If you wish to hide everything and only have users access log in and profile information on the front end, you might take a look at the Theme My Login plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/theme-my-login/

    Since you are running Multisite, you might check with the plugin author to see whether the plugin is compatible, and if there are any MS-specific issues.

    In the meanwhile I found this one that does the job nicely:

    But I’ll have a closer look to the one you also suggest.
