Multisite Local Install Help Needed

  • Hi all,

    I am posting this in both the localhost & multisite sections of the forum. Please forgive me for the double post, but I thought that it might be appropriate for this matter.

    I just got a new computer and I wanted to do a fresh install of a local WordPress Multisite. I’ve got everything working but the sites are not being created and when you try to go to the dashboard or the front page, you get a 403 error.

    I am on Windows 8, installing the latest version of WP and I am using WAMP.

    I had no problem setting up a local install on the old computer, but I cannot get this one to work.

    Can anyone help me figure this out?

    It’s more of a local host issue than Multisite, and you’re going to get way more brilliance there when it comes to WAMP and Windows than here.

    Make sure WP worked as a single site install before you activate Multisite. If it does, the problem’s in WAMP ??
