Multisite – login issues when navigating between sites, after updating to v2.5.0

    Hello WP-2FA team,

    thanks for your plugin.

    After updating the 2FA plugin from version 2.4.1 to 2.5.0, we’ve started experiencing login/ session issues when navigating between subsites in a multisite installation.

    When switching to one subsite to another, the website is redirected to the login webpage again.

    We did a very long and thorough investigation, removing the plugins / themes one by one, and I can 100% guarantee that the issue is with 2FA version 2.5.0.

    We rolledback to the version 2.4.1 and its’ working accordingly.

    We searched about this issue and we found only the following co-related topic:

    Enviroment:

    • WordPress v6.3.1
    • PHP 8.2

    We are aware of this issue – a few more people have reported this. We will include a fix in the next update of the plugin. We do not have an estimate of when the next update will be available, but we have just started planning the update.

    Hello, today we have just released WP 2FA update 2.6 in which we fixed this and other issues. Please refer to the WP 2FA release notes for a detailed list of what is new, improved and fixed in this update.

    Please update to the latest version of the plugin and let us know if you need anything else from our end.
