Multisite – Move users/posts from one blog to the other

  • Hello,

    I have a problem in 2 parts.

    1. First off I need to bulk move users from one blog to the other on a multisite installation. They use the same theme but the import/export tool on wordpress doesnt work. I need to move part of the users with all their posts and stuff and then delete the ones I have moved from the main blog without cauing any trouble.

    2. I need to ”bulk” change some information from all the users (i.e. they are all users from UK and I need to change UK to London in the country field. after I will change the city field changing them into different areas).

    Again…Import/export tool doesnt not do the trick. Any instruction to do it at a db level or plugin to do it for me?

    What error are you getting?

    Does it give ANY error? It really helps us if you can screenshot, or copy paste, exactly what happens ??

    The fact that import isn’t working means something big is wrong, btu we can’t guess what because all we know is ‘it fails’. That’s really hard to debug.
