• My client installed a multisite version of WP. I am not new to WP but definitely new to Multisite option.

Anytime I add & activate a new theme or make changes to CSS it doesn’t show up when I refresh the page.

Last night I went to bed confused because I had added and activated a new new yet it wasn’t showing up. When I woke in the morning it was magically working.

So today I created a child theme, added some custom css and also added 2 menus…none of that is showing in the live site no matter how many times or how I refresh the screen. I’ve tried hard refreshes…clearing cache…nothing works.

I’m curious as to wether or not when I wake tomorrow morning it will magically be working.

I can’t work this way… I need the site to update immediately so I can continue making changes and see it as I go.

Any ideas on why this might be happening??

I did a Network Activtion on the original and then the child theme AND I also activated it on the site dashboard->themes as well. So I’m pretty sure it’s activated. The site is tenerife-labodega.com/dev if you want to check it out.

    Thank you so much!!!

That had happened to me several times. Most times the reason for this is because you have a caching plugging active. Deleting the cache a million times may not do. For me I use WP Super Cache plugin, so whenever I am editing my website I simply go to WP Super Cache Settings, and check the ‘caching off’ button, and viola my changes appear immediately. After I’m done with the changes I put the plugin on again
