I have a few sites recently upgraded to 3.0.1 and changed to multisite configuration.
All return 404 errors when the permalink configuration is set to an option other than default (posts, categories, tags and authors)
Moreover, after returning it to the default configuration some posts keep returning 404 error because wordpress tries to redirect the id=# link to the original permalink link.

Has someone a clue on this?

    Thanks

I did a clean install of wordpress 3.0.1, changed to multisite configuration (subdomains).
I can’t access the post’s pages, neither the autogenerated post ??

My hosting provider is mediatemplate, does someone has the same behavior?

They made some changes but didn’t want to accept the made them. They answer with their typical “All is working well at our side” but every time they sent this type of answer all start working properly again … is magic ??
    My permalinks are working again!
