I’m currently using the plugin on a multisite environment, and I think it’s a fantastic plugin.

Is there an easy way to use the wp-uploads directory of the subsite itself to hold printer data, instead of the common folder?

My only concern is setting up new printers on subsites – at the moment I’m doing the provisioning, but moving forward I’m going to pass this off to another team member. It’s too easy at the moment for them to select another printer that is in use at another location.

Is it enough just to change STAR_CLOUDPRNT_PRINTER_DATA_SAVE_PATH?

Sorry for the slow reply, for some reason I didn’t receive an email notification from the forum about your message.

I understand your concern, to be completely honest I’ve taken over maintaining this plugin so not the original developer, and haven’t really needed to touch the file data handling code much. So I can be sure that this is 100% perfect advice, but yes, I expect that will work, but I’d suggest changing the STAR_CLOUDPRNT_DATA_FOLDER_PATH define instead, which is the master folder under which all printer data and print job preparation is done..

Thanks for the feedback @lawrenceowen , I did that and all seems well.

I also added a site key variable at the end of the server URL so the correct multisite uploads folder is used.

Great, that should work. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll consider building something similar in as a standard option in the future to improve the out-of-the-box multisite support.

Would it be a idea to publish useful modification, like this, on Github?

@gendai I was thinking of publishing it as a gist if you’d be interested?

@lawrenceowen is there any possibility of the plugin being hosted on a repo? That way when there are updates we can easily fork/track changes and integrate any modifications we might have made?

Yes, my intention is to move development entirely over to GitHub. We have go to through some internal company process first (checking licenses etc.) but we should have an official repository up in January.

You might also want to check out this https://github.com/ko31/star-cloudprnt-for-woocommerce-plus repository, where a fork is already being maintained with some useful modifications.
