Multisite problem

I use the plugin on multisite where sites are subdomains (sub.example.com) of the maindomain (example.com) and the maindomain site is there too. All the subdomain logins work as expected. But the parent domain throws the visitor in without logging in. This shouldn’t happen. In “Domain whitelist” I have “example.com”, but it doesn’t help.
