Multisite Question

Just a couple of questions around using IWP with a multisite install.
User account
I prefer to setup a dedicated account that is used by IWP instead of a ‘person’ account.
In MS setup does it matter what permission level this account has? Does it need to be a super admin account, or does a standard admin suffice? Pluse does the account need to be added to each subsite?
Updating
When updating core or plugins in MS you usually need to run Upgrade Network afterwards. Does IWP cover this function after updating?
