Multisite – role not created on subsites

I’m using WordPress Multisite and it seems that the docspress_manager role only gets created on the primary site.

I was also curious if you might have an idea of why the classic UI has a 502 error when navigating the pages (pages 1 and 4 work, 2 and 3 have a 502 error). This only happens on the subsite and not the main site. I’ve tried re-saving permalinks and such. Admin role have all of the docs permissions set to grant.
