Multisite roles and permissions

  • How does Ultimate Member deal with multisite configurations?
    I would like members to have access to the main site, domain.com, as well as a sub-site domain.com/member-perks (or memberperks.domain.com.
    I would like to assign varrying levels of roles as well as access to particular sub-sites. Can Ultimate Member do that?

    Hi @heyscotg,

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible in the current version of the plugin. The Ultimate member doesn’t share user meta between sites in a multisite install. We will see if we can add this in the future updates.

    That would be smart. I do a lot of multi-site configurations for non-profits and charities, and they’re looking for a way to monitize sub-site content by managing users more efficiently.
