Multisite server move – issues with subdomain

Hi all,

I just completed a successful (well, mostly!) transfer from one Plesk based server to another. I needed more power and control of the environment so I got away from shared services and got in board with dedicated.

Only issue I can see is that my multisite is …no longer multisite. I can see the folders, settings, subdomains etc. all replicated to the new server perfectly it appears. I checked the .htaccess to make sure that it has the same rules as the old server and all is well there.

What occurs currently? If I hit subdomain.mydomainhere.com, it doesn’t show me the different content I should see. I instead see the home page of mydomainhere.com. Magically, all the work done seems to have disappeared. When I try to access the /wp-admin dashboard for the subdomain, I get caught in an infinite sign in loop that takes me back to mydomainhere.com.

Any ideas what is not working? Pretty late in the night for me here, so I guess I am missing something obvious.
