• Hello,
I had one site in wordpress, which is stefaniescheidgen.com.

I changed over to multisite setup but the new site (https://blusztyn.stefaniescheidgen.com/) does not show and I get an error that says:
“This site can’t be reached blusztyn.stefaniescheidgen.com unexpectedly closed the connection.
    Try:
    Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
    ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED”

I tried it again, but that site (https://testing.stefaniescheidgen.com/) does not work either.
I updated both files (wp-config and htaccess)
    Is there something I miss?

    Kind regards
    Stefanie

Thank you but I still do not understand what to do.
My page is hosted at united-domains.de and stefaniescheidgen.com is mapped there to my wordpress page (https://stefaniescheidgen.wordpress.com).
So do I have to change something in united-domains or wordpress?

Now you’re telling us there is a WordPress dot com site involved in this?

I’m going by the DNS records and the subdomains of your stefaniescheidgen.com site which seems to be working fine and is hosted at the same address as the two subdomains.

I think what you need to do is to call your web host which you say is UnitedDomains and ask them for some guidance…

I’m thinking if you actually have a multisite there at United then the server needs to know about the subdomains and to point those at the WordPress on that host. Your host should be able to do that for you or guide you through it.

The WordPress dot com site is a different matter completely.
