Multisite, site Attribute clarification.
-
My multisite configuration is used for committees on campus at the school I work at. Each committee gets it’s own site.
I’ve been using the “public” flag to add or remove sites from the main list of committee’s as some sites aren’t committee based and some do not wish to be listed in the directory.I’m also using the Restricted Site Access plugin to lock access to the sites to 192.168.X.X IP’s so they can only be accessed on the campus network.
The problem is this plugin does not work well with a multisite configuration so I had to deactivate the plugin on the network and activate it individually per site. This changes the “public” flag from 1 (active) to 2, and then removes my ability to configure the flag in the Network Admin Dashboard as seen here

So, I modified my shortcode I wrote to create the list of sites (obtained using wp_get_sites) to use the Mature flag instead.

MatureSo, what I want to know is. Does the Mature flag do anything else I should be aware of? Or is it safe to use in this capacity?
