    Hi Everyone,

I have a multisite network installation on https://www.graphicmonk.com and I created a sub directory sub site on https://www.graphicmonk.com/ecommerce and all was working just fine.

This morning mysteriously the subsite is not working anymore but is showing in the network admin > Sites as being preset. keeps looping back to the main site.

Ran the database repair via WOrdPress and this is what I got:

    wp_11_posts: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_posts’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_comments: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_comments’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_links: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_links’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_options: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_options’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_postmeta: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_postmeta’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_terms: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_terms’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_term_taxonomy: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_term_taxonomy’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_term_relationships: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_term_relationships’ doesn’t exist
    wp_11_commentmeta: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_11_commentmeta’ doesn’t exist
    wp_registration_log: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_registration_log’ doesn’t exist
    wp_blog_versions: Table ‘imperil5_wp_ji7z.wp_blog_versions’ doesn’t exist

I don’t understand databases and not very technical. Does this make sense to any of you? Can anyone help me out here to get things back to normal please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jeasy

  • Hi Jeasy, I see https://graphicmonk.com/ecommerce/ is there. Was your problem resolved, or do you still need assistance?

    Hi Susan,

The issue was never resolved, however, I ended up creating the site from a scratch. But lately I have found that the .htacess file tends to get overwritten by an empty one and I have to restore the original again..

That is your problem. If your htaccess gets wiped out, subsites wont work. IMO you have a plugin that is changing (i.e. wiping out) your htaccess file.
