• Hi,

First of all let me say that W3TC is a great plugin and I have been using it for years.

I was wondering if W3TC now supports a multisite installation? I have been trying to get my install to work and it doesn’t seem to work on a MultiSite install? Is this just me or is this a know issue with W3TC.

Does the Premium version support W3TC?

My main issue is that you can only activate the plugin Network wide which means if you need to setup multiple CDN’s you can’t it only works for the Primary network site?

Does anyone have any knowledge with regards to W3TC and multisite caching?

    Thanks for any input!

  • I believe you must activate the plugin on a per-blog basis, it won’t work network-wide. Other cache plugins apparently do work, but there are many conflicting reports of people experiencing issues with all cache plugins, so your results may vary, I would try WP-SuperCache too.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately it is only possible to do a Network activation and not a per blog activation! It seems like W3TC doesn’t support multisite network installations but that surprises me as it is such a popular plugin.

If anyone else knows any more about using w3tc on a Multisite install especially when it comes to CDN setup then please let me know!
