Multisite using subdirectories, one SSL for admin?

They are *virtual*. The folders do not exist on the server.

One SSL cert does them all in subfolders.

I had learnt earlier they were virtual folders, lol, which explained why I couldnt find them as actual subfolders..!!!

Er.. does pose another q though, how do I upload content?? I wanted to move an exisitng wp blog, but obviously cant as theres nowhere to ftp too!!

Im sure when Ive used export/import before, none of the pictures transferred, and I had to move them manually…

Im really not seeing any benefits of virtual folders… why not simply usea real ones???

there’s a checkbox on the import that says “transfer over all attachments”.

those DO have physical folders under the blogs.dir directory.
