Multisite with 150 sites very slow

    Our MU install has about 150 subsites, each with about 8 webpages.

    Activating plugins and creating new pages in new subsites is very very slow.

    What can we do to improve the performance of our website?

    Help appreciated.

  • Run a web audit with the Google Chrome developer tools and find out what exactly is slowing down your sites.

    Might try to increase server resources. If your traffic is increasing, you might wanna consider that.

    Looks like the problem was temporary, perhaps due to load on other sites within the cpanel account.

    Help appreciated.
