Multisite with existing websites

  • Hello,

    I’ve installed Multisite on this site: example.com.

    I have another website, with WordPress installed already, which I’d like to transfer over to the Multisite: site1.com.

    I set this up as a new site in Multisite, as site1.example.com, and ported my theme and posts/pages over, and it’s fine.

    Now, I want to make it so that if you go to site1.com, it brings you to site1.example.com, and not site1.com as it is now. I’ve tried setting up the domain mapping, but that doesn’t seem to be working.

    What steps am I missing?
