Multisite/Multiuser tracking IDs

    Hi,

    Is EasyAzon compatible with multi user environment? We have a multi user platform (multisite) and have one Affiliate account in Amazon with multiple ID channels (one for each author, as we are working with contract writers) but we have not found the way to include these IDs in the plugin settings. We only can insert one ID per country in the Amazon Associates Tracking IDs field. We tried inserting multiple IDs separated by coma but it is not working. Is there any way to insert different tracking IDs for the same country?

    Maybe this option is not available on the free version of the plugin. But is it an option of the Pro version?

  • Sorry I must have missed this post. Yes the pro version supports multiple tracking ID’s. The free version does not.

    The way it works is that you can put multiple tracking ID’s for your primary category but for link localization (also a pro feature) it would just support the first tracking ID you input that location.

    Supporting multiple tracking ID’s for every location would be a little difficult to manage as it would require you to set on a per link basis which separate tracking ID you’d like every localized link to use. So instead we just default to one tracking ID for link localization.

    Again – link localization is a pro feature – but that’s how it works.

    Multiple tracking ID support is designed to help you create links and test various tracking ID’s to see what converts best but in your case you could also use it for a multi user blog as well yes (with EasyAzon Pro).
