multistep checkout: email & phone fields look weird

if you go into the billing fields, you’ll see that the email & phone fields are next to each other. i think it was the css, so i went to the appropriate multistep checkout css file & found that they have a width of 48%. i tried to comment out that part of the code but didn’t work for me. the link i sent is the checkout page. try to get an item into the cart & check out.

EDIT: maybe it looks ok on a computer, but try to open the checkout page on a phone & it will look really weird.
