Music Overlapping

  • I am having a similar problem to the previous guy with the music overlapping. It will play fine while browsing the site, but once I navigate back to the home page, the song starts playing again over the first one. I tried to find the line of code that you spoke of before “$use_own_jquery_lib_on_front_end” and couldn’t find it in the file soundy-background-music/soundy.php.

    There is no overlap when I view the site in Chrome, but in Firefox, Safari, and IE, it all does the overlap.

    I’ve removed the $use_own_jquery_lib_on_front_end variable in the last version of the plugin after having spoken with a plugin reviewing person.

    A plugin or a theme should not use its own jQuery library version.

    Please ensure this is the case with the theme and plugins you are using.
