must passwords already be encrypted

    when importing users, does the password already have to be hashed or encrypted, or does this happen from plaintext import and then encrypted upon import into the database?

    Hi @johnwit,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    When importing users, if the passwords are hashed, then the passwords will be imported as they are. However, if the passwords are present as plain text in the import file, then the passwords will be hashed by the plugin.
